Author: First let me send out a big shout to QuakeLive TV for their hospitality and extremely warm welcome. I must say I had a blast and I owe these guys greatly for asking me to go. It was definately a blast from the past, I caught up with Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel who was also at QuakeCon2009 as nVidia’s featured spokesman, or should I say featured frag master, as well as several other players I hadnt seen in ages such as KnosSOS & JoyRock. Ive got loads of demos to dump to video. So I will try to get some of that posted as soon as possible.
This is a shoutcast of the FIRST EVER nVidia Instagib 5on5 CTF challenge in Quake Live. Unfortunately the tournament was prematurely ended due to an oracle error which caused Quake Live to be inaccessible for a short period of time due to the only person able to fix the problem was in bed asleep at the time.

I like in the video how you explained what I do is not possible.. haha! That’s awesome that you got to do that though. Can’t wait to see the vid uploaded.
until i saw you do it, i didnt think it was possible anymore. But the way you did it which is really slick its obviously possible. I used to strafe cj off that pad and do that, which is not possible anymore(atleast i dont think so), but using the pad itself is. Like I said it the post, kudos on your technique.
